Analog AV Conferencing Dock

The :3C! vidision MediaDock.V2 connects analog VGA and audio outputs of your Notebook computers or other conferencing devices to the MediaRoom DockingBus.

IR or RS232 control signal inputs and control outputs are interfaced to the IRC I/O of the MediaDock.V2 and distributed over the DockingBus to displays, projectors, media components or lifts, screens, blinds, lights and more connected to RelayBox control units.

In MediaRoom Basic configurations, up to 8 MediaDock.V2 can be connected and switched, VGA and audio signals are extended over distances of 50m/125ft to displays and projectors via the MediaBridge.V2 Receiver units.

In MediaRoom Basic configurations the MediaDock.V2 can be controlled with pushbutton switches or the SmartTouch touchscreen IR remote.

MediaRoom Advanced configurations combine the MediaDock.V2 with one of our MediaPort Conferencing Switches & AV-centers, allowing for installations with 4 to 144 analog conferencing positions with the MediaPort.III or MediaPort.IV/HD; 4 to 288 analog conferencing positions or up to 144 MediaDock.V2-M in a 144x2 Matrix with our MediaPort.IV/HD-M.

Each DockingBus segment in a MediaRoom Advanced configuration can be 50m/125ft long, the MediaPorts´ integrated MediaNet signal extender allows the installation of displays/projectors in a distance of 25m/65ft.

MediaPort.III and MediaPort.IV/HD support 9 DockingBus segments with a theoretic total bus length of abot 475m/1200ft, the MediaPort.IV/HD-M Master Matrix has a limit of 18 DockingBus segments, allowing for a maximum bus length of 925m/1350ft in the most complex conferencing setups.

In MediaRoom Advanced configurations pushbutton switch control for the MediaDock.V2 can be used in addition to SmartTouch touchscreen IR remotes or W-LAN touchpanels.
